Default Wire connectors 2021 Road King

Hey folks,

Been awhile since I've been on the forum but I have a couple quick questions on some wiring for my 2021 Road King I just bought. Can you tell me what this connector (Pic 1) is for, I'm assuming for something that might be used on a another touring bike that shares the same harness?

Also, Pic 2 looks like this connector junction should be attached somewhere underneath based on the plastic push pin showing. Again, is this something for a fairing bike or is there a specific spot in the headlight area where this attaches to keep it from dangling?

Lastly, seems like there's much more exposed wiring (Pic 3) as compared to my 2008 Road King. I guess these are the way they're made now. It'd be nice if they made something to cover some of this up.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Here’s the wiring diagram…

There’s one in the service manual, also.

My King just likes yours. Agree with you that connector should be attached somewhere but can't figure out.

2019 RK same way. I tested it when looking for connection for a USB. It does have a switched 12v but will drop to like 4v when connecting the USB to cellphone. So I am assuming it is the canbuss and for an option on other bikes. There is another loose one (2 wire) in there as well that is a good switched 12V, kind of short but usable. Pretty sure this was for the fender tip lamp on some models and as all factory wiring, a protected circuit.
Very easy to tidy up!

If everything works, then don’t worry about it.

It's the chassis fan connector.

Between Violet/Blue and ground 12 v
Between Brown/Yellow and ground 5V

I plug a USB socket into that connector (V/BE and chassis)

I believe the empty connector is to the unused toggle switch under the handle bar clamp.

There is a white unused connector on each side of gas tank. these are for factory accessory running lamps that the factory quit installing on the Road King.
