Default Battery Tender pigtail

Did not like the pigtail sticking out the side cover. Put this socket in the blank hole temporary in the rear.
Pros & cons.

I think that's a good idea, trying to plug/unplug a short but loose wire end connector can be a pita sometimes, especially in real cold weather when the plastic loses its flexibility.

Looks good; however, I would get some better looking scews (chrome/stainless steel) with flat Allen heads to make it look better.

Water intrusion, corrosion and rusty fasteners could be a problem.

Sorry, not for me. I tuck mine behind the seat.

A small hardware store or online would have black screws.

Or a dab of black touchup paint on the screw heads.

I would have preferred to keep it hidden instead of drilling a hole in an expensive part.

It's a nice panel mount but I would put that just about anywhere rather than there in the open. It ain't a Tesla.

I have mine tie wrapped to my seat strap. So easy to get to (no leaning down to connect) and blends in.
