I have a zep. on my Ultra. The seat width for the driver is 21" ! the standard seat is 17. That alone makes a huge difference.
Thanks for the tip on wicking underwear--I've seen that advertised but never saw any feedback on it.

Thanks for the feedback. I've heard from several sources that the Road Zep is a good product but it does make you sit higher. I'm right at the threshhold of the top of the windshield as it is with the stock seat, so if I do get one, it'll mean an additional expense for a taller windshield. Yikes.
What say you guys?

One thing: When I installed mine, I had a heck of a time with too short of wires to the accessory plug in under the seat. A few months later, I put on heated grips, and had to put the fuse holder in the fuse box, and discoveredthat there is a lot of slack in the Harley wiring if you cut the wire ties and adjust the positioning of the harness, and re-tie it. This made taking off and reinstalling the seat much easier.
One more thing! If you have the seat pumped up, don't leave your bike parked in the sun! Always bleed the air down, or your will find yourself with a stretched seat cover!
