Why all the hate?
Dude thought he wanted a HD...crime? So what! He changed his mind. Don't we all reserve that prerogative to change our mind?
Give the dude a break...he won't stay here long.
Let's face it, HD isn't the perfect bike......they do try...but theyfail to advance their technology.
I agree, a HD is what a bike should look like, but the many issues that plague this sled are mind boggling.
In this day and age, they should have these issues ironed out.
It mustbe a marketing thing for those educated folks. HD knows exactly what's going on.......we're the dummies!
Are the Japanese more technology advanced than the Americans? On certain platforms, heck yea Why is that?
So the dude would rather ride a Beemer, who cares? He rides doesn't he? Or are we just jealous?

I'm not bashing Harley's, I almost bought one.
You guys should check outBWM's forum site, the guys there speak very highly of their motorcycles with very few problems.
Here's a plug for a new K1200LT, I'm thinking of buying one
They come with an electronic windshield, XENON Head Lightand electronic centerstand - VERY COOL.. and guess what, the BMW and Ultra Classic are aboutthe same price.
