I rented an '07 UC in Las Vegas- 5th gear rattled like a jackass in a tin barn- so much I asked them about it. Their answer,: "they all do". Then I rode a '07 SEUC at a Demo Day event- and bought one. "07 SEUC- no trans noise that's bothersome at all. In fact, I can't hear any noise I'd call unusual, unless I'm not paying attention and let the RPMget a bit low in any gear.
