So an interesting thought has come to mind. I have a 2022 Ultra Limited on order which is significantly delayed, go figure. But an option has unexpectedly presented itself. 2021 in Gauntlet Gray Metallic that is blacked out. If it wasn't blacked out, I'd pass and wait on it. Originally my thoughts were Vivid Black and blacked out or nothing.. but I have to say, this scooter looks pretty damn sharp in the photos.

So tell me more if y'all have a scooter in Gauntlet Gray, the good, the bad and the plain old fugly.

Funny story. A good riding buddy had to have Gauntlet Gray. But he wanted one solid color. Last September he decided to pull the trigger on the two tone with Guantlet Gray complaining all the way. I suggested that he wait a few months to see what 2022 offers. No, he was very impatient and wanted it now. Two weeks ago I was talking with him and he is kicking himself. Trying now to work out a deal to trade a 2021 with 2k miles for a new solid color. I doubt he'll be able to make it happen without a huge loss. Actually his two tone color has really grown on me. But the solid would be my choice!

Thanks with the exception of a full out custom soft tail I built a long time ago, I have always had black. It's a pain to keep clean but it looks great. But I do do like this combo for sure. I am seriously considering pulling the trigger, there is basically zero difference between the 21 and 22's.
