Default JES Customs fork mounted wind deflectors SGS

Anyone using them on their SGS? Are the HD ones better?

If the HD ones came in black I’d consider them but for now I’m leaning towards the JES ones. Also considering these https://www.glideairdeflectorsystem....-through-2013/
but I’m not liking the material used for them. I would prefer metal over plastic.

Default Wind deflectors.

I just put the Harley ones on today. They work just like they are suppose to. Yep 👍

I used the JES on my Softail that had a terrible buffeting problem, and they did help greatly.

When I traded it in for my SG Standard, I replaced the standard windscreen with a larger one which helped on the SG. But, at this point, I don't have fangs on the SG.

Happy Holidays !

I have fangs on every bike I own; they all reduce buffeting, but on my 2011 SG, the nice thing about the JES ones is that they'll fit without modification if you install passing lamps.

If you have or plan on putting on lower fairings, the JES fangs still work.

JES and I have lower fairings too

The owner was cool and he said they rented a wind tunnel to do an efficient and effective design. That’s why they look different… cause that’s the best design that works the best they discovered. You won’t even notice that interesting look, but you will notice the difference!

Harley just apparently just copied JES and smoothed them out for appearance possibly? I didn’t rent a wind tunnel to check though.

It depends on what you want to do in the future as far as accessories go. I had the Harley "fangs" on my 2021 SG and they do a great job of wind deflection. I knew that I would eventually add the aux lights and my parts manager insisted that the two were compatible-WRONG! So I sold the Harley fangs, and after talking to the owner at JES (his cell phone number is on the site and he picked right up!), ordered the JES. Their deflectors do an good job ( not a good as Harley because they're smaller) but are compatible with my Aux lights and also my new lowers. I'm happy with them. Hope this helped.

Another satisfied JES customer here. Added them to my Street Glide a few years ago.
