Has anyone installed these? After confirming that they fit my 2021 RKS, spending more than $300 on them, they seem way too short. I expect them to be a little tight but it seemed like the guards might bend if I put the rails on.
Mine fit perfect on my 2020 Ultra Limited. Be careful of the small locking screws on the inside facing your bags as they will scratch your paint if not covered when removing your bags. Harley Davidson dealer in San Diego installed them for me and when inspected their work, I found a scratch on my bag just across from the locking screw and they had to buy me a brand new bag. I took my dremel and filed them down flush with the rails so that would not happen again.
The newer style saddlebag guards are great. Better than the previous version. Easier to install and was designed so you can add keystone lighting to fill in the gaps.

I installed mine, didn’t pay close enough attention, and did the same thing your dealer did at some point later. Left a 1” scratch. Fortunately it is not visible when on the bike. I have a roll of thick rubber electrical style tape and cut 1/4”-1/2” squares to cover the screw heads.

I have the old version on my 18 road king, I'd love to switch it out for the newer version so I can install the keystone lights in the gap but cant see spending the money twice on the rails.
