Default Batter Tender no longer charging after accessory hookup

I have a 2016 roadking
I plugged in my gerbings electric jacket liner into the pig tail coming off the battery under the left side cover. I wanted to make sure they still worked. After testing that out, i hooked the battery tender jr. up as normal and this time had a flashing red light (not charging)
I'm wondering if for some reason hooking up the jacket liner blew a fuse or something?

the bike still turns on and everything looks fine

I've used this battery tender jr whenever i'm not riding and never had this happen until after testing the jacket liner.

From the owners manual- RED LIGHT FLASHING – The red light flashing indicates that the battery charger has AC power available and that the microprocessor is functioning properly. If the red light continues to flash, then either the battery voltage is too low (less than 3 volts) or the output alligator clips or ring terminals are not connected correctly
If this is the original battery (5 years old) it's possible that it may be time for a new one.

Check the inline fuse in the battery tender pigtail.
Bet it's blown.

Yep, this. That fuse is a 5A and you likely overloaded it.

On the bike side? I don't think the pig tail on the bike side has an inline.. i'm going to pull the side cover and check.

thank you!

I just popped the side cover and prior to the fuse box saw and inline.. i opened it and sure enough, 5amp fuse blown. I put in a new one and back to charging!

the only thing I can think is when testing out my gerbings it blew it, odd... the gerbings has it's own battery attachment with a different type connector and the one I used was someone made to adapt to the pigtail. I am going to wire in the proper battery connection before using again.

Thanks for the help!
