Default Stage 1 ECM Reflash Cost

Local dealer quoted $180 - 190 for a simple reflash.

Seems a bit high.

What have you paid/been quoted?

Thank You

I paid my indy mechanic $150 to flash my '06, though prices may be higher now.

$149 @ Chandler Harley - I was buying the breather and SO's from him, too.

Quoted $150 at my dealer at Bloomington Indiana HD and had it done at Boswells HD (Nashville TN) for the same price of $150.

It will still run on the lean (hot) side as they still have to comform to current EPA limits... Might as well get a V&H FuelPak or Power Commander or ???

Local Labor rate is $68 per hour.

$180 - 190 seem a bit excessive for a 15 minute job

However, I guess there is overhead in a Dealership

PCIII USB would seem to be the best option

You have a $20k and you're worried about $20?

No:

I don' t mind paying for service, however, a 15 minute reflash, does not seem to be a good value, when I can invest a few dollars more and do it myself.

BTW, bike only cost 13K, not 20K.

Thanks for the input
