I have a very good dealer. After I voiced some complaints about my 07 EGC, they offered to sell me the Isolated Drive System Kit for $210 installed. It's a very good deal.

I'd like to hear from those that have tried one or who have driven an 08. I'd like to know if it really makes a difference in the drivability.
I'm thinking about asking Zanotti's how much they'd charge to press the bearing into the pulley. I can handle the rest. My local dealer won't wipe a bug off the windshield for less than their one-hour minimum ($75).

I found on another post that Zanotti's will press the bearing for $12. Worth it to me! Wish i could find a deal like $210 installed. Jump on that.

Go for it! That's a great price.
I bought mine from Zanotti's for 198.00. Iinstalled in 1.5 hours. No big deal. But for 210 installed. That's a deal.
No more 5th gear clatter.

You'll be surprised how much better the bike rides. Am able now to use 6th gear. 5th has much less whine tooalso. Best 210 you may ever spend in my opinion.

I installed the IDS Thursday night in about two hours. Took that long because I removed both dual slip ons and they were on tight. We just got back from a weekend in Gettysburg. About 350 miles round trip. The IDS made the trip so much better. From cruising the highways in 6th at 60-75, to 15-20 around the battlefield in heavy traffic, it was great. I can now run in 6th gear at 2200 rpm with no engine clatter, no trans whine - nothing like before. 2200 rpm in 6th actually feels normal now. Got mine from Zanotti's and they pressed the bearing for $12.

I paid $252 installed. $210 is a great deal. IDS is the best you'll ever do for your 07.

Anyone that wants to be hard headed like me and install the bearing themselves I got a good one for ya. Put the pulley in the oven at 200 degrees and the bearing in the freezer. Go out and take off the rear wheel and unbolt the old pulley. Now go back in the kitchen, put the pulley on the cutting board, take the bearing and literally drop it in the hole. I was pleasantly suprised! Now go clean under the rear fender while it cools and then continue with the best addition ever to your '07! You won't believe it!!
