I just tossed in 1qt (32oz) of Redline MTL.
Personally, I wouldn't use MTL in the primary - too thick plus your clutch may not "like" the friction modifiers. Any non-energy conserving oil does well in the primary, but, ATF was always my choice.

On the primary. I removed the derby on my Ultra before I drained it. took a light and made a mental note of where the oil was sitting on the clutch pack. Drained the oil, and when I added the MTL(32oz.) it was exactly back where it was, I don't know.

Let my engine oil drain for 30 minutes (2 beers), your time may very. (it was hot), anyway manual said 3.5qts w/filter change. I had to suck some out with a turkey baseter to get it right, and that was checking it cold, then riding and checking it hot, then doing it all over again the next day to get it right. I don't know.

32oz in the tranny and BINGO. I don't know.

Go ahead you mechanics, flame me, I don't know.
