Default Handlebar Mystery

Team-

I recently purchased a 2018 street glide from an owner in GA. So far it has been a good purchase.

The Bike has aftermarket apes installed by an H-D in Chattanooga. After a couple of long rides I noticed that I am getting quite a bit of movement in the bars. It’s not the back and forth that you see when someone didn’t do bushing but full forward backward movement. So…. I order a new top clamp from Hill Country as it has been an easy solution on previous bikes. This evening I tore down the fairing and was hoping for a quick top clamp change. WTF is this?? There is no top clamp on these bars. I personally have never seen it. That doesn’t mean that much I realize but I need some guidance here.

In doing some research it looks like they are LA Choppers bars.

Not sure yet how to tighten them but I think this is what they are.

Thanks man! Hit it with a torque wrench. Hopefully that keeps the movement to a minimum for awhile

That would be neat on a bike with an exposed handle bar clamp.
