Cool Saddlebag dimension confirmation please.

Hello from Australia
I have bought two tourers in the States to use when we are finally allowed to travel overseas again. One is a 2010 FLHXSE CVO Street Glide, the other is a 2012 FLHTK Electra Glide Ultra.
Im in the process of buying Saddle bag liners for each one. It is a bit confusing, because some sites say the same liners will fit both bikes, and others say they wont. Can someone please clarify this for me ?
I have looked through the threads but cant find a definite answer.
Thanks.

The difference is that the CVO has extended bags. You can use standard bag liners in it there just will be a little extra space underneath, especially in the back. I don't know if they ever made special bag liners to fit those. Use the extra space to put some tools or something underneath. I would buy the same liners for both of them. The non CVO saddlebags were the same size during all of those years and probably are still except the shape of the lids changed in 2014.

the 2014 bags changed more than just the 'shape of the lids'. but not relevant for this discussion.

my 2013 came with saddlebag liners. they were physically the same size as the non cvo liners, just a little fancier. it's also important to note that hd calls them 'liners' but they really are just corder bag inserts, while there are some other companies that actually make liners that affix to the sidewalls of the bags. which liners are you looking at?

Thanks skratch.
Im looking at the Drag Specialties Collapsible soft luggage liners, from J&P Cycles which as you say are actually removable bags.

I bought these from KemiMoto's eBay store.
They are great & have a been a game changer for us but I wish I'd looked at J&P Cycles first , there seem to be a couple there that are quite bit cheaper ( unless they quote each & not a pair).

huh, go figure. on the hd website, they now call them travel-paks. i guess there was just too much confusion between the bags and actual saddlebag liners. in the body of the description, they still reference them as 'liners'. run about $60 now. less if you get them from a discounter.

Saddlebag Travel-Paks - 91959-97 | Harley-Davidson USA

when travelling, i use these in the saddlebags, with the innovative storage solutions toolbags that fit in the 'voids' of the bottom of the saddlebags under them. if i need to get a tool, just grab the handles, pull the whole bag out and it's easy to get to your tools. quick to load everything back up again afterwards too.

I have both the travel paks and the fitted saddlebag liners. The travel paks I use mostly for my trips, but the liners are my every-day use to keep loose items from rattling around.

If you haven't bought them yet, I noticed there's a set of HD Premium Leather travel bags, plus the matching TourPak travel bag in the classifieds here...https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...vel-packs.html

Thanks for all info.
Cant wait to travel to your country, and ride those fantastic roads.
Unfortunately Lefty, I did purchase the bags and a tour-pak bag as well !
And WHS, I looked at Kemimoto products, but liked the Idea of having the little pouches on top of the Drag Specialties bags.
Skratch, Thanks for the heads up on the "In the pouch" bags.
Cheers all. Much appreciated.
