Default Street Glide: Lowers yea or nay ?

For audio reasons only on fence about adding lowers to Street Glide. Not that I’ve seen a lot of pics but I’m not so sure of it. What say you ? Pics welcome 👍

Coming from a guy with a Limited and audio installed. Lowers all day!! They extend my riding season and probably the number 1 best upgrade, bang for the buck audio wise

I prefer the looks without the lowers. I have soft lowers I will use late fall and early spring, but they come off when weather starts to warm. But this is me.... you can have what you like!!

Audio is the big reason. I’m in FL so heat is an issue in summer thus vented is a must.

They come off in a matter of a few minutes if you want to remove them in the summer. Chances are you won't want to remove them after getting used to them

Why worry about looks? You're just a set of lowers and a tour box away from a Geezer Glide already! 😂 The SG is just a light version of a old mans bike......

True going to be 62 so qualified as a Geezer 😆 I’m adding a Chopped Tour Pak lol.

I use to take them off in the summer. I haven't had them off the last 3 years.

I find ALL of the buffeting on my FLHTK is air forced up into my face from the lowers.

I have zero buffeting on my 03 EG, and when the bike was up north the soft lowers extended my riding season

unfortunately it would take a complete re-configuring of the audio system the previous owner installed to make mine removable so I live with the buffeting
