I don’t get much buffeting from my lowers, as long as the vents are open. What I really like about them the most is the extra storage. That’s where all of my glasses, gloves, etc go. it helps keep my saddlebags clear to I can stuff more in them on trips.

Except for 95+ degree weather.. I like mine.. more comfortable highway riding not having to hold my legs in due to the excessive wind

Street Glide with added lowers

it seems to me my 19 RK runs hotter with the lowers. Makes the heat management system kick in on mild days.

My rig didn't come with lowers.

But since I added them, they have never came off,

IF the question was asked for me, I have HD lowers. However, due to the model year. Mine are non vented lowers as that's
all that was offered for the Road Glide. In 2010, they raised the fairing. This allowed to add vented lowers.

In todays market, there are pretty good aftermarket lower for a lot less money than the MoCo.

I added lowers to my FLHT. I was unsure about them especially in the summer but I still got plenty of air moving while moving. I decided to just keep them on and they come in handy when the temps get lower.

No way I'd add lowers just to add speakers.
