you can buy the rinehart true duals from a couple of vendors on this board for about 700.
the se ac you can build for around 125.
pciii runs about 300 w/shipping.
a couple of hours of your time and 1125 bucks and you've just put 875 bucks towards your wheels.
now go ride.

Just did the Stage I on my 07 Road Glide last night.
Rinehart slip-ons $409
V&H Fuelpack $199
SE a/c with K&N filter (taken off my previous Street Glide) FREE
Miscellaneous parts/items needed $7
About 1.5 hours of my labor FREE
Beverages to relax and cool me while I worked $6
Total: $621
Depends on what you want and how much you have to spend. They can sell you everything in the world if they convince you that you need it. You need to really look at what you are after in the long-term. I knew I had no intentions of doing any engine work for quite a while so the Fuelpak is just fine for me. Saved a ton on a tuner and dyno tuning.

The A/C I understand, now what does the EFI Race Tuner do? Is the pciii the same? What does is benifit to me.
The dealer says I need 2 hours of Dyno time to tune all this in. Is this true? Can I just order all this stuff, bolt it on and be done? This race tuner, is it just a little box that gets mounted somewhere, do you get any directions?
Thanks guys for saving me $$$$.

Another optionto look at, instead of the SERT or PCIIIthe Thundermax is more $$ upfront but tunes itself= no Dyno needed.

WOW! I've been waiting for a quote for my FLHRC to do the same: Rinehart T-D's, Ness B.S., and SERT, dyno and labor. He hasn't gotten back to me yet. But if I put all the mechanical stuff on (exhaust and A/C), will I be able to ride it to the dealer for the SERT and dyno without f'n up my engine?

if you use a canned map for your setup, it'll get you within 90-95%. if you want to get the most out of it, you'll need the dyno. if you're not worried about that list little bit and are happy with the way it runs, then just ride it and be happy. there are lots of guys here who just use the canned map for their setup and never go near a dyno and are completely happy.

What are the reviews like on the Thundermax? I'm always skeptical about things like "self tuning". I love the idea of being able to install it myself and not have to take it to someone to be Dyno'd.
