Would you trade a 14 Ultra Limited for a 22 Pan America?

Thanks everyone for your response. Overall I bought the Ultra Limited for a more comfortable bike for my wife and I to ride. She has since decided she doesn't like riding anymore and does not go with me. I find the Ultra Limited to be heavy and not as responsive as I'd like when riding by myself. Since I don't need the big bike I'm looking for something new. I had a Road King Classic previous to the UL and enjoyed that but I'm looking for something that I can try new things with while riding. This is why I've been thinking of the Pan America. I wish I could have both but can only afford, and only have room, for one bike.
Last weekend I went for a test ride on a Pan America Special and spent an hour riding around on all kinds of roads, including dirt and grassy roads. It was a lot of fun. Obviously a completely different bike then the UL and I was pretty nervous at first riding it. I hit the throttle too hard going into second gear and the bike popped a wheelie. Near scared the crap out of me. I did notice a big smile on my face after the ride though.
I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on this, but may have to wait for the 22s to come out. It's only 4 months away before they hit the showroom floor so I can wait. Seems HD has stopped producing the 21s at this point so I wouldn't be able to get what I want at this point. Might as well wait. Though I think I may try to sell my UL myself now as the prices seem to be pretty good.

Having ridden the Pan America, it impressed the heck out of me.
Some time spent with the factory rep, going over how things work, especially the various modes, including the custom ones, impressed me even more. It is one tremendously capable and quite comfortable bike.
It is certainly not everyone’s cup of tea, and is a totally different ride than an Ultra.

What dealer let you take a test ride that long? I did mine at Laconia HD but it was maybe 20 minutes, and no dirt. An hour wouldve been nice.

That's my plan - just sold my 2018 RGS because the market is pretty good for selling used bikes right now, and I'm also in MA so I'll wait for the 22s since the snow isn't far away. No sense in making payments sitting there all winter.

Obvious point I guess but yea, I had some "sticker shock" at the used prices. I looked for a few months and could not find much to my liking under 18-20K But, my patience was rewarded with a good deal. Thinking of selling my 2016 Tesla Model S. Prices are crazy for it right now.
