You'll get a good lope but might take a hit performance wise with that muffler setup.

OK So if the majority agrees he needs a different exhaust set up which ones do you all suggest?

Whatever the hell this guys running. That's not even a torque curve. That's one continuous plateau. I'd take that any day

The Se Tq cam will likely not have that issue as it has -5 deg overlap. With 4 valves per cylinder most, the motor could need is maybe 5 to 10 deg even for the hotter cams.

I'm no expert, but what worked for me were V&H Torquer 450. I had the Rinehart DBX 4.5 mufflers and torque took a huge, very noticeable dive right off the clutch and any time you hit the throttle with any sense of urgency compared to stock mufflers. I've read others having the same complaint on here over the years, swapped for the Torquers and got all that performance back and gained some. IMO, the Rineharts were rushed to the market to fill a gap in their line up but the V&H were better engineered for the M8's pickiness on intake/exhaust setups.

Read my posts elsewhere. The Rinehart's 4.5 DBX sound amazing but kill low end. Switched to Khrome Werks 4.5 slip-ons with performance baffles, great sound huge performance improvement.
And look what just arrived on my porch. Fullsac warranty killing head pike. Yes!!

Still under warranty for the next 22 months, so I decided why not. I know it's not the best performance cam for the money, but I hear it's definitely an upgrade from the stock cam. Anyone else have this cam, and if so how do you like it?
I have a ‘21 SG 107 with the torque cam in it. It does the job - not the best out there for performance, but a decent upgrade from stock. I also have the Rinehart header and DBX pipes on mine. The cam really helps out with the sound and volume. The bike sounds great setup like this and using the SE Pro Tuner.

I think you’ll be happy.
