P&A Fuse blowing

P&A Fuse blowing
Hey guys,
my P&A fuse keeps blowing, so something is shorting out. Really the only thing I have on this circuit is my heated grips and running lights. I have the aux power switch kit, 71400105, and use the spliced wired switch to power the lights.
I disconnected the lights, unplugged the harness under the side cover, and checked all the wires for shorts and it kept blowing. So I don’t believe it’s there. When I unplug the wire at the switch, it stops blowing and the grip heaters will work. As soon as I plug it in, it blows.
I found some threads that state the push button switch can be the culprit, so I removed the buttons, but it still blows.
I ordered another accessory switch kit, but think it may be something else.
This started happening on a road trip, only thing I can think is the hard rains we got stuck in, but that shouldn’t make this happen, any thoughts on this?

Got shipping notification that the new auxiliary power switch kit shipped, hoping that will fix the issue, but a bit disappointed that it only did its job for a year and a half.
I’ll update once I get it and put it on incase others in the future have this issue.
if this doesn’t fix it, I may just hard wire the lights to a keyed circuit with an inline fuse.

Most of the time when a fuse is blowing over and over again, it comes down to the wiring that is going through the handle bars, with the wires exposed at the bar openings for the wires (wiring sheilding cut/worn away), and where the ground problem is most of the time.
End of bars openning as the grips is a snap to get to, while the openning between the handle bar clamps, no so easy isntead.

Update:
On Friday, the new switch kit arrived, swapped it out, and it fixed the issue, everything works as it should now.
I would like to get to the bottom of what made it fail so I can avoid it happening again.
I am planning to reach out to HD and see if the kit can be warranted since I only had it on for 1.5 years, but guessing they will tell me it only had a 1 year warranty.
