Sounds great.....Wife and I and one other couple are leaving on the 17th from Cleveland to the top of Skyline Drive, then the BRP and on down to Cherokee, NC, spending a few nights there, then on to Greenville SC for a day, then heading west through upper Ga, Alabama and Mississippi to Tunica, Memphis for some ribs and then neading home. Will be on the road for 17days.
If you see something that is a definite "do not miss", let me know.....safe riding !

Sounds like a good trip! I live on Highway 50 over by North Vernon... Planning on a ride down to the Knoxville rally at the end of the month and hope to do the Cherahola Skyway and the Dragon while there.. Sounds like some good riding down that way!

Update!!!!
WOW what a trip, the wife and I just got now got home from the BRP and the Cherohala. We had a great time. Only rained for about 15 minutes the whole trip. The ride was a little unnerving at times.
I have a hard time leaning enough in turns but the ride was great. The highlight of the trip was that I got a hair cut in Mt. Airy by Ruaael Hiatt he is the man who was the inspriation for Floyd the baber in the Andy Griffth show. 1786 miles in eight days. I recommend this trip to everyone. My ultra did great and was not haot at all. Ran like a top.
