Congrats on the ride. I got my black ‘21 SG at the beginning of June. They’re fantastic bikes and the miles add up quickly.

Beautiful bike. I happen to prefer black and chrome. The comment on a replacement seat is a good one. They're not cheap, but it can make all the difference in your riding experience. Better seat = more time wanting to sit on it. Obviously for $25k the seat should be good, but this is one place that all manufacturers seem to cut corners. You'd think it would be high on their list of things to make good, but no. Maybe they get kickbacks from the aftermarket seat companies 🤷‍♂️

I may even find a pin striper that can do something tasteful on this blank black canvas.

Thanks for all the suggestions and advise, everyone!!
I guess I got my ticket punched so I can now legitimately loiter in the Touring Models forum .

Thanks everyone. I do like the classic black 'n chrome look with the larger engine guards. Took her out for another nice ride today. Although she's great in the country roads and highways I do have to put in some practice time in to parking lot and slow speed maneuvers. She stands a bit taller and almost 100 lbs more then my softail. Oh yea, even though it's the same M8/107motor, I sense more torque then the softail, but that maybe my imagination. I do like the note of the dual side exhaust, however.

Congrats on the new bike, I’m a big fan of the standard. I’d like to see a road glide standard.
