Lowers for my Street Glide

Lowers for my Street Glide
I've decided that I need a set of lowers on my bike and am looking for some info from the folks who have knowledge about the Hogworz lowers. How do they compare to the factory Harley lowers as far a overall quality, venting, etc. How do you like the soft cover on the storage area? Also wondering how the finish is? Do their colors match well?
I'm trying to decide between the Hogworkz and the factory lowers. Going with the Hogworkz will save me about $300 (Canadian) but if I'm going to regret purchasing them I will gladly spend the extra for the factory ones. I already saw the no name ones from Amazon and Ebay and have ruled them out. Any help you fine folks can offer will be greatly appreciated.

EBay ones are fine.
That said, my bike is vivid black so I didn't have to worry about a match as the ebay lowers I bought only came in vivid black.
I managed to find a set with proper glovebox doors on instead of the silly click on flap things that the OEM ones have. It makes them really useful.

I suggest checking with HogWorkz on the style of the lowers. The pic on their site shows the 09-13 lowers, which will fit your M8 bike.
Most of the aftermarket parts are ABS nowadays. The H-D is a nylon composite they call GTX. It's a bit thicker than ABS. I have the H-D lowers on my bike and all of the H-D stuff fits right, including the lockable glove box I have. If you plan on using and removing the lowers frequently, the quick release hardware is a nice-to-have.
If you plan on the H-D stuff, check with some of the discounters, but then the shipping to the Canucks might be high though.

Unless something has changed, the US dealers won't sell to Canadians. Unless you can have a US resident purchase on your behalf and then work out the shipping.
