2021 TPMS Question.

I watched a video on YouTube a while back, Doc Harley and he explains some things about the TPMS system, I don't know how spot on his information is, but certainly worth considering.
According to him, when moving the sensor is in "Drive Mode" and the system is updating every 64 seconds, but after 7 minutes of being parked/still the sensors go into "Park Mode" and only updates every 4 hours... to prolong battery life. To "wake" it up or get back into "Drive Mode" so it updates, you have to drive the bike 25mph or faster for 20 seconds or more... then it "wakes up" and updates.
I do not know if it has anything to do with what you guys are experiencing, just thought I'd throw that out there incase it has some bearing on it.

Could be, if the ID is 8mm to fit snugly on the HD valve stem and the OD is 11mm so when its slid into in the 11.4mm hole in the rim, and you slide the stem thru it everything is snug.
Its all in that other thread.

Let five pounds out, pumped up to cold psi, no more issues. Thanks for that!

Actually heading to the Black Hills lol 10 hours on the road today at 70-80 and a bit warm… so I learned mine goes to “Hi” at 51psi, and then while fueling up the tire cools some and once it comes back down to 50psi or below everything is good again. I caused this because I knew I’d be overnighting in places where starting out it’ll be in the low 60s-F, so I bumped my tires up a couple pounds. I would imagine if I’d just took 3psi out it would knock out the high warning, and once the fires cool all the way down at night, they’d still be good… so far I haven’t had it get “hung up” so to speak.
what you don’t want to do is freak out when you get a “hi” message and let air out until you’re close to 40psi… cause when that cools it’s really gonna be low. I’ve ran internal sensors for awhile now (previously an aftermarket system) and these psi after heating up a tire are not unusual… although I got a little too aggressive…

did you “wake” them by going at least 25mph for at least 20 seconds before checking them. They go into Park mode after sitting for at least 7 minutes. So when 6ou first turn the ignition on, that reading could be 4 hours old.
