Folks all of you have given me enough good information and tips. Unfortunatelly I'm not able to do it right way. I'm in the military stationed in Iraq.I'll start working on it as soon as I get back to the mainland. Needless tosay I miss my ride!! Thanks and keepon riding!

Put some AMSOIL or REDLINE SYN OIL in the tranny and it will help.... You might also want to check the Primary Chain adjustment....

Clunking is normal.

Thanks for your service to the USA. You and your buddies' contributions in a tough situation is deeply appreciated.
Oh yeah, and a little clunking is normal especially the first cold shift from neutral to first.
