Default MSRP

I was at the dealers today looking at an '05 Electra Glide Classic, it was pretty much stock and they were asking 19,900. I told them that after adding in the shipping they were about 2,000 over MSRP. They commented that they didn't know of anyone selling at the MSRP. He did finally say that he was willing to negotiate. How many have found bikes at or below MSRP???

We have at least 6 dealers near us (within 2 hours that ALL sell at MSRP. IT really is the standard. We have 2 that waive the freight and setup, and one that offers 2-4 hours free shop time with a purchase. This time of year you can also negotiate a 10-15% (I got 15) off on any accessories purchased with the bike. 2 of my dealers honor that parts discount during the first 30 days after purchase.

I am in PA!

You can find a dealer that sells for MSRP but you may have to drive a little. Around Houston, most were selling over MSRP when I bought mine last year. Went South about an hour and got what I wanted for MSRP. Good luck.

Grab the phone book and call. Once you get one that will take MSRP, ride it back to that first dealer and show him what MSRP will get you...

Four Corners Harley Davidson, Farmington, NM sells for MSRP. The Harley Shop in Durango, Colo. was selling for MSRP last time I was there.

just bought 05 RK. I'm in the twin cities, best I could find is a little over msrp. (without haggling) Took a short drive over the river to WI. Had no proplem getting msrp, no set-up, no delivery, and 20% off acc. for one month. probally could of done better, but I know I could of done alot worse at the dealers in my area. Do a little driving, i may not have saved very much $$ but the customer service was well worth it.

$1450 under MSRP with $350 in free parts/acc... 15% off above that. Millville HD in South Jersey. Another dealer in the area was really close to the same deal... I opted for Millville for personal reasons.
