I much prefer the open feeling on the RG, SG is a bit too cramped for me. On the RG I like space between me and the fairing, I like the fixed fairing, and overall I think it looks much better.
Very rarely do I have a need to actually touch the screen itself or the controls on the fairing, everything I want to do can typically be accomplished with the thumb controls on the handlebar. So much so that I've forgotten it was touch screen and I can manually type in addresses for the GPS a couple of times

I always made fun of the way road glides looked until I started paying more attention to them and ended up purchasing one. I love the looks now and the ride and handling complete the package for me. I'm seeing more road glides than street glides so the word is getting out and this has been confirmed by my closest dealer. Road glides are out selling street glides 3 to 1 around here.

It's not really "aesthetic" but another big difference for me was the fact that the SG had my upper legs actually angled upward from the seat to my calves. After having ridden bikes with relatively "forward" controls (and level or downward-sloping) thighs) for the past 15 years, it made me feel like I wasn't really connecting with the bike. I rode both last Saturday, and the RG came away the clear winner.

I think the SG has more of a "classic" Harley look, but I think the RG looks menacing from some angles. Strictly looks, I'm probably giving the edge to the SG.
However, now that I'm on an RG I'd need to get a smokin hot deal on a SG CVO to switch back to the batwing based on riding and comfort benefits of the RG for me.

I find it interesting that when I look at pictures I like the Road Glide better but when I see them in person I like the Street Glide better. Weird.
Not that this matters any and looks are a personal preference but does anyone else feel this way?
I also notice the Street Glide is $300 more then the Road Glide. I'm guessing it's a popularity tax because why else would it be more? Lol. I'm thinking more people buy the Street Glide and feel the same way i do.
