Went from Dyna to Road King to Road Glide.
No issues at all with seeing the HU display. Handles pretty good. The RG is, hands down, the easiest bike I've ever ridden on the highway for distance. Super comfortable without providing a car like experience. You still get the road but it doesn't destroy you after 6 hours - if that makes sense.
If you ride with people at all - you'll likely be next to someone with a SG. Just wasn't my thing, they're nice but there's nothing there to get me to give up the shark.
I just bought a 21 so unlikely to buy another soon but if I do buy another bike - it's going to be another Shark - either Limited or CVO

I thought that way as well, but it literally only took a few hours and I forget it was even a thing (CVO RoadGlide). My issue was with the buffeting. If I do get one again, I'll put more effort into setting it up differently

I never liked RG, but when I see pictures of some of them, they look really good. The only thing with RG that I don't like is how it looks to me when I sit on the bike. the HU is far away, I don't think I would be able to read what's on the screen. Then the gauges look out of place to me. You have two right in the handlebars and then one on each side of the fairing. The whole bike feels way to "open" for me when I sit on it.
With SG, I wish all the weight wasn't there on the handlebars. I like how everything is in my face, gauges all in the row...and I can read the screen which is easily accessible. I wish SG had two headlamps. That would just put the cherry on top of this thing. RG looks nice and aggressive at some angles.

My experience was just the opposite. Moving from a Street Glide to a Road Glide the first thing I noticed was how much more open the ride was on the RG.
My SG always felt a little to "in your face" for my taste.
Each to his own I guess
Ride safe
