I struck a deal with my local dealer for a new 08 Ultra. It now has my name on it and will be arriving in a few weeks. The color I selected is two-tone White Gold Pearl / Black Pearl. I have only seen the picture, not the actual color. Since then I have seen other bikes with some of the new colors and the real bikes do not look like the photos. So now I am wondering if I made a mistake in ordering the white/black bike.

Has anyone seen one this color in person? If so, could you offer an opinion on how it looked?

i saw one in nashville, tn yesterday
and i was not impressed and my wife thought it was a police model....
the black is like a gray color not like vivid back on the solid black....
i want to see the two tone red one, has anyone see it???/

I have a black pearl rk custom. The color, IMO, is great. Looks black, in darker light, but grey with flake, in the Sun. The sunshine really makes the bike look awesome, again, IMO. Although, I will agree that the black/white combo will resemble a cop bike. But, hey, maybe people will watch you more closely. LOL

 

my bike is solid white gold pearl. at first i wasn't too fired up about it, but now i think it is an awesome color. it really stands out in the sun. it is not a 'glacier' bright white, but a more richer, warmer color.

 

Ive seen the White Gold Pearl / Black Pearl color combo on an 08 Ultra. All I can say is WOW!

That really is one of the sharpest color combos out there. EXCELLENT Choice!!

You will definitely be turning heads with that bike.

 

Even though i'm partial to solid colors.That combo looks great.

 

Paint the top of the tour pack and your helmetpacific blue, no one will tail gate you.

 

My dad's SG is black pearl and I love the color. I haven't seen the combo you are talking about, but it sounds pretty cool.

 

Thanks for the input. Sounds like one of those things that you either really like it, or really don't. In any case, I spoke with the dealer. He said if I don't like it, no problem, he will order another. I am thinking the solid white gold pearl as the "backup" color.
