Does anyone here own a used police bike?

Every year I see the trade-ins come through a local dealer. They are usually very low mileage and in great shape. I see the white paint as a blank canvas that is ready for a custom paint job. The only thing that looks strange is the black platform behind the driver and the two black plastic **** looking things on top of the hard bags. I would also love to try out the air ride seat.

So, are there any ex-police bikes on this site? Post pics if you have them!

And even now all my dash mods (fairing mirrors , new gauges, and fairing gps mount) and Rinehart pipes - BUT I DONT HAVE A PICTURE OF THAT TO POST YET. I will get something up this weekend hopefully of it NOW!

thanks. it looks even better now with the new pipes and stage one and the fairing mount changes (no mirrors standing up now. I love IT!

Thanks. The paint is a Harley radical set, but I had a local guy paint the fairing, air cleaner, tour pak, and filler strips to match. Like you said, the police bike is a great starting point if you are going to customize.
