2014-2019 did not come with the gts/carplay. it can be retrofitted, but if you are still running the stock gt radio, not going to work for you.

Stroke of genius, or redneck engineering 101…. Either way, credit goes to mikes300 for the idea.
Took some direct connectors, crimped, cut off the heat shrink sheath…connected to the pins. Ran wire into the USB port area on my Ultra.
I ride 2 up 50/50 or so. I use headsets 10% of the time at best. But I always like better maps and GPS and the ability to listen to Pandora, Tidal, Sirius XM, etc.
I used a simple male/female spade connector inside my USB compartment. Want headsets? Unplug. Want Car Play, plug in. I’m sure I’ll get to a switch of some sort someday…and wire that up, until then…here ya go.

Thanks dajogejr! That's pretty much along the thought pattern I had to do this...thanks for confirming. I already have a small rocker switch I may mount inside the USB cubby.

You bet. Pure curiousity, let us know what rocker/switch arrangement you do, I’m looking for ideas.
I’d bet just about any dual pole/connector rocker will work.
I’m thinking a small bit of industrial Velcro to hold it to the side of the USB Cubby for clean install…

This is the one (2 position...on/off) I happen to have in my tool box. Mine being a Road Glide, the cubby is easily accessible.
Next time I'm under the hood, I may just drill a 1/2" hole in the side of the cubby and mount it there.
It will be out of sight and all I'll need to do is open the door and it will be easily accessible.

why even do that, you don't have to use carplay, just hit one of the other buttons and go right to the home screen.
