I wanted more pull back on my 05 EGC and I was going to have the 575s installed, but declined when I sat on one that had them installed. I like my hands close to being inline withmy shoulders when I grab the handle bars, but the 575s are 2" wider than the stock HD bars and I found myself trying to put my hands on the switch area of the grips. Just MHO.

remember the pin locations? I just spliced the wires and soldered them back together and shrink tubed the connections.
waaayyy too much work. i made a diagram, undid the wires, ran them thru the bars and reinstalled them in the clips all in 30 minutes.

I don't care what anyone tell's you here (sorry guy's) but it's not a good idea to use the two piece handlebar clamps when installing the 575's (or any other Wild 1) Use a good one piece handle bar clamp and also change out the stock rubber handlebar bushings with harley's polyurathane bushings. This will prevent them from sagging later on. Just my take, Putt

Finally got all the parts in, did the install this evening with no problems. I went with 4" over cables, everything fitgreat, no complaints on the length. I used the new harley 1 piece clamp, fit like a glove. I did pull the radio, only took about 5 mins in and out, only 4 screws. Ignition switch was simple. Internal wiring took maybe 30 mins, no fitment issues. Probably would have sucked if I didnt have true duals, simply removed bolts for muffler hanger and tranny mount and easy access to the side of tranny and clutch cable. Bars look great and feel good, it was too late for a test ride, will give feedback on that tommorrow with some pics.
