Default 103 Engine upgrade and keep my true duals

Hey guys, Im looking to get a little more out of my 13 stock 103. After doing a little reading and talking to some people i think whatever I buy it will be from FM and I have yet to give them a call to talk yet. I thought I'd see what recommendations or experiences you guys may have relating to my situation. I currently have VH true duals and would like to keep them. Im not trying to build a race bike but I'd like a little more out of her. I'm not a little guy and also ride 2-up at least 50% of the time. Honestly don't see myself ever doing over 100 mph and even that would be pretty rare and short lived BUT if and when i do, i'd like to be able to get there pretty quickly. Anyone have any advice for turning the 103 into a 110 and what cams would work well for what Im wanting? Id say 80 % of my riding is on 2 lane twisty highways doing between 40 and 60 mph with the occasional interstate stretch at 75 mph.

I had them do a 107 on a 2013 103, with v&h true duals. There's nothing prohibiting you from using duals, it's just not optimal. Likely your torque curve will be shifted a bit to the right, but I was happy with the build.

I just put a set of CR575 cams in mine. I finished it up today. I still need to finish tuning and go over a retighten everything after a couple of heat cycles.

It seems to pull pretty hard so far and still usable at low RPM. I did keep it 103 for now.

EDIT TO ADD: I too have a true dual exhaust, though mine are Rinehart. When I spoke to FM about them the guy pretty much said I was an idiot and not their type of customer. He did make some recommendations, but said I really needed to change my exhaust before anything.

I did still buy from them. The ordering (online) went smooth and arrived very timely.

I had Vance and Hines true duals and didn’t keep them long and switched to Rinehart 2 into 1 and couldn’t be happier. Better performance I really like the sound and look better to and I don’t scrape the pipes on a aggressive corner anymore. I wish I would have bought the 2 into 1 sooner

Depending on the type of ride

I have used with good results

SE 255 Ca
S&S 510
S&S 570
Duals

I like the results for the carving or touring
