Somehow there's something on the inside glass of the speedometer. Of course every time I ride I know it's there.

Is there a simple way to remove the glass and clean it?

from what I remember from my Softail when I had a dask speedo, the glass is sealed on the unit. If your bike is an 05, then I would have it back to the dealer to have them replace it for you. Your bike is too new to have that kind of issue.

It's going to the shop this week for the stage 2 big bore with 203 cam, and the 1000 mile service.

I'll throw that at them while it's there.

Condensation maybe? My gas gauge always had that problem when I started it up. Also I had what appearedto be water spots on the inside of my speedo gauge (glass).
