The ECM provides the ground for the relay and if it doesn’t get a signal from the CKP that the engine is rotating it shuts the pump off after 2 seconds.

Do you have 12v at the relay?
OK, finally got to get back on the bike issues.
I checked the white wire with the black stripe at the relay, nothing, went up to the switch plug in the fairing, turns out the male side (new) had pushed the female side out, I just had to press it back into place and the fuel injection ran it's cycle and the bike fired first crank. Thanks to everyone especially Vernal. Your help is greatly appreciated.
