Default 2008 vs. 2009 front forks

Did the front fork design change from 2008 to 2009? I know the main frame and rear sub assembly had a major change in 2009, wasn't sure about the front though. Thanks in advance for any information. MD

I see they are different internally. Anyone have a factory service manual for 2008 touring that would be willing to take a couple page pictures of the fork oil specs and amounts?

The 2009 springs and damper rods will fit right in the 2008-earlier forks. I did that upgrade on mine years ago when people were lowering the front ends and selling their old parts. Also did the 2009 later air shocks at the same time
