Default Any one had this problem

While on my way home from work tonight i noticed my engine and battery light was on . My volt meter was down on voltage around 10 to 11 volts . When i got home i checked my oil , it was fine . Pulled the seat off and put a meter to the battery and had 13,4 volts. Started the bike up after cleaning the battery terminals . Had 14.2 or so.
Rode it around alittle bit and the lights went away . Rode it again and they came back on . Will call stealer tommorrow and see what they have to say . Still under warrenty .

Any one had this problem?

how old is the battery? Can you add distilled water to it or is it sealed?
Need more details on the year, make and model. If it's a Honda, your on the wrong forum. 8-)

Voltage regulator going bad? Could you possibly have a bike effected by the voltage regulator recall?

Could have been a loose cable ... or could be the regulator or stator getting ready to take a crap. It may have thrown a code when it happened, if so ... the dealer will be able to check it.
