RE: RK handlebars
I put the 56152-04A Reduced Reach bars on my RKC, and it did the trick to alleviate the tight muscles across my back and shoulders, and the lower back pain I got from leaning too far forward. Much more comfortable ride, but they do change the angle of your wrists slightly and it takes some getting used to. I'm average-sized...about 5' 9"
One other thing you should know is that these bars are drilled for internal wiring and you can't really install the wiring outside like the stock bars....the reason is that on the stock bars, there's an indention where the wiring bundle exits from under the switch housings and prevents it from getting pinched. The 56152-04A bars don't have this indentation....just a hole where the wiring should enter into the bars. In other words, the wiring will be pinched and possibly damaged if you try to install them externally. AND....the stock wiring is just a tad too short. The dealer should tell you that (they told me I could install external wiring..nope....), and it's clearly listed on the instructions that you'll need extended wiring. Instead of the 60 bucks for the extensions, you can do it yourself if you're handy with a soldering iron...for a whole lot less money. Look in the DIY section and there are some great links with instructions.
