Default Rainsuit ?

In my advanced years perhaps I should buy one
Prefer 1 piece
Prefer under $200
Consume minimal space in bag
I assume they all leak & have limitations but it`s got to be better than nothing.

Your opinions and /or recommendations please & thank you

I have an older packable HD rain suit. Cost around $100 at the time. This packs into itself and is small and takes up little space. It always in the bag. I will keep you pretty dry...leakage around the collar/neck area, but then its an open area as well. One draw back is riding in the rain when warm/hot and the rain stops. You sweat in that thing!!! I think HD has this for closer to $200. I would recommend this set up. If I had the money, I would get the textile jacket and pants that I can wear even when it's not raining. Think Aerostich or Klim. Expensive, but I think could be worth it.

I have a medium duty rainsuit made for fishing. I've used it many times and it only cost around $50.

I have a FrogTogs 2piece and it does the job and works as a windbreaker on cold days too.

Stocking foot fishing waders, and the jacket of your choice, a little bulky but will keep you bone dry.
