After going through some cheaply made suits , I found Helly Hanson . Their rain gear is top notch , have a pair a waterproof track pants that have a Velcro strip in the pant leg , which makes it easy to put on still wearing your boots . I bought a pair a couple sizes larger , so they would fit over my jeans . I've been in some horrific rain storms and I always stay dry .

Agreed. I have been through several sets.

I am not a fan of the one piece, so I finally shelled out for one of the FXRG jackets, the 2017 model I think?
Bought the Duluth rain over-pants, tested them in some Oklahoma pre-tornado downpours, they work great!

I've discovered no matter what brand rain suit you wear if you forget to close something or snap something the rain gets in. But I have to say using overboot protectors are great.

After riding professionally, for 22 years, I’ve found the nothing beats Gore Tex, or it’s variants. The key is, to not only keep water getting through, but also the ability to breath. Nothing sucks worse than sweating so bad, you’d rather just get rained on. The downside is, it’s expensive.
