Love that look.

Mine originally had the sticker with clear coat over it. Once I painted my tank I put these aluminum ones on. I believe I got them from ebay.

The key is to take your time and heat it up. It took me forever to get mine off and then, I ended up scratching my tank to ****. Luckily, I had a buffer and some compound and orange disk to buff it out.

But yeah, heat that **** up...and lots and lots of Goo Gone

Carbon bar and shield I just put on a week or so ago. Just like mentioned above.... fishing line pulls the emblems, then use a eraser wheel on a drill with low speed and save your thumbs and a mess of goo gone. With I would of bought one of those wheels years ago. Then installed a set of real carbon emblems I bought off a seller on ebay. I love the way it turned out.

Hey @bunk216 How do you like those wind deflectors? Do they work well?

Great looking ride!

Thanks! and yes I like them, and they work well. I ran them for a few weeks then pulled them to see if I really was noticing the difference... and yes they work. Wasnt really planning on running them all the time but now they will probably stay permanently. But the lowers do the most for wind especially in the cold weather. Highly recommend a set of lowers.

Added a couple more emblems today, which are not on the tank but they are on the bike! Each saddlebag has the same, which match the raw aluminum wheels and color of the letters of the tank emblem...it all looks pretty good in person:
