Default Phone charging

Looking for anyone that has some sort of phone charger on larger diameter bars. I have the basic ciro3d phone mount perch mount on my 16 road king and would like a way to ad a bar mounted usb or cigarette outlet. I can’t find anything online that will go up to my 1.25 KST bars that are waiting to be installed except HD’s version thats $100. I know ciro makes two phone chargers but want to keep that as a last resort since I have a mount already. I’ve found tons of charging options for the saddle bag, not interested in that route as I use the phone for gps and music and want to keep it on the bars.

Before we get the comments, I know some people reading this shut the phone off or use the bike to get away from talking to anyone and that’s great not what I’m looking for though!

I know you have a Road King.... but on my Street Glide I mounted a USB dual port in the cig lighter spot. I don't know if you can find a USB outlet that would mount on your bars or on another spot. You might google USB port for motorcycles and see what comes up. That's one possibility.

Do you have to have it physically mounted to the bar itself?

Like Spartenden, I've got a double USB plug, it stays in the windshield bag and I run the USB cable out to the phone/GoPro. The phone goes in a RamX mount and it's mounted to the bar.

They make adapters you can hard wire right to your battery. Below is an example. This, a usb extension cord, a little creativity and some splicing skills and you could have a usb anywhere on the bike.

I have something similar to what 6113_ posted, except it plugs directly to the ACC plug under the seat on my King. I think your bike has it behind one of the side panels. The USB end is behind the nacelle to keep it out of the weather. I use it for my phone or GPS mounted on the bars.

Look into Quad Lock. www.quadlockcase.com
I have 2 of them on by bike. They're solid and have different options for mounting.

Used this last year. $15 and it plugs in to the same wire as the battery tender. That’s it on the right side with the red light. Ran the wire under the tank it the wiring channel. I did it for the same reason, music and gps on long rides.

Get a Ram ball mount on your brake or clutch lever.

A medium arm.

And the phone mount wireless charger.

Run a SAE to USB charger off a battery tender connector and plug the USB from the charger into it, probably under the tank someplace out of sight.

No plugging your phone in, just clamp it into the phone holder and it's charging.
