Default Which Upgrade, Stage 2 or Suspension

I have a 2020 Street Glide Special that I bought brand new about 7 months ago. I have a stage 1 on it and added a king tour pack and hard lowers. I have all the lighting upgraded to LED amongst other upgrades. Trying to decide if I should put a stage 2 torque cam upgrade or Legends Revo-A suspension upgrade on it. I put between 12k-15k on it a year. My wife also rides with me about 50% of the time. Which upgrade would you do and if you’ve done either one or both, what’s your experience with them?

I don't know why everyone rags so hard on factory suspension, I have 25k miles on my 19 SGS and it rides fine to me. The cam I did was well worth the $$, so with that said - I'd do the cam and all the other required stuff to make it work.

I've done both and just my opinion I'd do the Legend shocks first then next winter do an after market cam upgrade. Just my 2 cents and ljkely not worth that.

If it were me I'd do the suspension first and then do more work on the motor at a later time. There's just something about the way a great dialed in suspension feels. Nice looking SGS.

Do you hate the suspension more than the lack of power? Only you can decide.

I would say since you said you do a lot of 2 up, I would go with suspension. Aftermarket rides way less harshly, and would handle extra weight better. If you have the special I would look at doing the 13" for the added travel. Legend suspension is often described as plush. The factory suspension on the new bikes is hard on the back..... that being said a cam upgrade would also be real nice for 2 up

Do the suspension. You can always go quicker, but so what? For me it’s more fun having a bike that handles well and pushing it.

No one knows how much of a difference a suspension upgrade is until they do it.

I did rear shocks last year, and did cams last month. [ Way different years as mine is an old bike]. I am much happier with the suspension up grade than the cam. I will be looking to do front suspension soon. Wife wanted to know why I took so long to do rear shocks. It doesn't jar her back anymore.
That m8 with stage 1, nice. pretty too!

Cam.
I think the factory suspension rides more than good enough.
