I bought 2... one for the wifes '07 Deluxe, and one for my '05 Ultra. I installed hers first (easier). It took about 45 minutes to an hour. Took about 1.5 hours on the Ultra. The biggest PITA on the Ultra is getting the Road Zepplin seat off. [:@]

It wakes people up. I've scared the sheit out of a few careless cagers. One of the BEST investments you can make!

I have had the Mini Beast, the HD loud horn (which I didn't particularly care for, since it inly has one tone. The Mini Beast was okay. I now have a Stebil Nautilus, loudest horn around, about $35.

I just installed the Mini Beast this afternoon. It is feakin LOUD! I like it. Pretty easy 45 minute install. The longest part was routing some wire and removing/reinstalling the seat. There may be louder horns out there, but this sure seems loud enough to make the point.

I got the HD air horn as soon as it came out. I had a he11 of a time installing it, search the forum and get a good laugh at what it took me and then the dealer to get the old rubber mount off.

Anyway, my horn just recently fell off!!! Yep, hit a pot hole and the new rubber mount just split apart. The horn fortunately didn't fall off and was dangling by the air hose and wires. The new rubber mount is like 20 bucks!!! The horn with compressor is a bit heavy and hangs at a slight angle which seems to always want to twist the rubber mount. Anyway, check your mounts for cracks in the rubber, that's what I'm doing from time to time.

I definetely have to invest in one- I am still using my clutch and reving my straight pipes on almost every ride when I see someone rolling up past a stop sign.... It is nice to see them turn their head, and the front bumper nose down as they slam the brakes- so I know it works.

Be VERY careful with the rubber mount that HD uses on their Air Horn.
Like someone posted already my Wife's almost fell off !
Wicked poor design ! The original OEM horn has a BETTER rubber mount.
OEM one has a stud THROUGH the rubber mount and the Air Horn mount
DOES NOT ! All it is ..... is a metal plate fused to the rubber mount with a
stud sticking out. This is done on BOTH sides and is EASILY ripped apart
over time because of the weight of the horn and also because of the natural
vibration of the HD motor.
