Progressive 416 rear shocks

RE: Progressive 416 rear shocks
Just fitted the 416's to the bike and they work. I went out the bump in the driveway and it was soft and back end went up and down, then saw a pot hole and held the bars tight and gritted my teeth like normal, but no bang just went through. Conclussion the standard rear shocks were virtually seized or not working sufficiently. The new progressives aremuch smother and it can feel them moving, will play with air and get them set up just right. I suspected the originals were stuffed and this proved it.

RE: Progressive 416 rear shocks
Before purchasing any shock you may wish to learn about the shock I developed with Penske. No air adjust is necessary. For extreme differences in load (they are valved and sprung to your weight) a sweep adjuster located inside of the shaft would need to be turned. This is if you are adding another 300 or so lb load to your bike. This system is not the same as Progressive, works, et al. and the ride quality is equally non-compairable.
