Harley Davidson was still HD during the AMF days just another owner other than a Harley or a Davidson. The Polaris Indian is a completely different situation and yes they are copying HD. The chieftain didn't sell well at all until they made it look like a street glide. Heck even Polaris Indian lovers were mad at the fact it looked like a copycat. I am not bashing them because they do have some cool ideas and machines but they are not my type of a machine

Well, you can call the AMF bikes Harleys if you want but I owned 2 in the day and they were junk.
