It will also fit on the handle bars, and you don't even know it's there.

I carry a pad lock to lock up my helmet to my front rotor. Also a 2' cable for my jacket or two helmets.

Hang mine off my brake pedal... have never had a problem... yet. The world is changing and is full of turds that are looking to take anything not nailed down. I would definitely buy a helmet lock if there was one available that looked good on my bike.

+ 1 on sticking the D ring in the saddle bag and closing, doesnt seem to mess anything up after a couple of years doing so. I do agree, its only going to keep the honest from making a bad move, if someone wants it bad enough, they will get it.............

you can buy that same lock on ebay without the H/D name on it and save some cash. Thats what I did.. I mounted mine on the crash bar and it works great .

A buddy gave me a set of helmet locks for my EG...nice ones, bolt to the saddle bag guard rails. Rode to Vegas....stopped at restaraunt for some eats, bike was just outside (in sight most of the time)...a van had parked between us and the bike. Never did lock the helmets...just thought we'd be inside for a short time, hell, they'll be safe. NOT! ... Came out and one of our helmets were gone. Pretty bummed, had locks and didn't use em. Had to run over to the Harley shop in Vegas and pick up a new helmet.
Lock em up !!! Helmets and the theives.

Not true....The perp simply slices thru the stitching with a box cutter and resews with dental floss and touches it up with black magic marker.....If he gets 20 bucks at a pawn shop he is happy.

I found a device at J&P Cycles that was pretty cool. It's a retractable cable lock. The cable is 30 onches long. It's great for helmets and jackets. Best of all it's only $20.

I put a H D lock on my engine guard and am thinking of adding one on the other side, helps hold tie down straps in place.
