I put on a Helmet Guardian , fits on the liscence bracket and under the tour pack and came in chrome.Blends in well. It has a special type allen for removing it so no one just unbolts it and steals it all.So far have been satisfied with it.http://www.lockitt.com/accessories_h...helmetguardian

Cheap and easy, sometimes Free. Use a gun lock that comes with every gun purchase. Sometimes LE gives them out for Free. Can do two helmets with one lock. Put it around bag guards, frame tube, any thing.

I made a lock out of steel cable at the hardware store and with a small padlock total cost only about $5 and it can double locking my leather jacket through a sleeve if needed.

when we take the cheap helmets we just kinda let them hang. If we take the HD helmets then i have a rubber coated cable lock i got from sears to lock guns with. everything is coated and wont hurt if it hits something.

I ride an EG, and when I travel I use a DOT helmet which cost quite a bit. Most of the time my bags are full so the helmet will not fit. I just carry a gun lock, which is a 12"coated cable about 1/8 inch in circumference with an attached locking mechanism. I believe that if someone started to steal my helmet and it was attached they would not spend the extra time to try and get it loose.

Have always used a HELMET LOCK when the Putt is parked... Mounted on my engine Guard and locked through the D-ring...
If they cut it off.... It's no good for them... Haven't lost one yet - but others in our riding group have when they just let them hang off the bike...

i have an hd lock helmet key lock on each side of the front crash bar(not the most secure but it is something)..and always lock our helmets...ignition and forks...i see all locks/alarms as just a slow them down or move to the next bike...as a pro will take your stuff regardless...so i try to make it just a little difficult..

I use this one from Kuryakyn. It works with their ISO Grips.

I use it when I feel I need to use it, not always.
