Default Detachable tour pak for 07 Ultra

My local dealer says HD doesn't make detachable tour pak hardware for an 07 Ultra. Is this right? I sure can't find one in the catalog specifically for an Ultra. I've seen some other threads and pictures where others have installed detachable hardware on their Ultras so I just wondered what kit did you use?

No this is not correct...you want the detachable tour pak kit for the touring model. I have it one my ultra and probally a million other riders. Not sure why it says not for the FLHTCUI? I'm pretty sure I used 53804-06 but I would have to check. Let me know if you want me to double check my numbers.

You can use Part # 53276-06 Tour Pack Rack and #53804-06 docking hardware. You'll also need to purchase a laydown tag bracket (see Kuryakyn catalog for this, not the Harley one) and you're set. Even if they don't say it won't work, it will. Note: You will need an antenna reloaction kit of some sort if you want to listen to your radio. You will lose your CB antenna in the process but if you are going detachable you probably aren't going to be talking on the CB anyway. There will be alot of wires to hide but it can be done !!!
