Ride them both and then decide. They both have their pros and cons. The wind buffeting is different. With the SG, you fight the wind with the handle bars. With the RG, you balance into it. You will find people that prefer each. No one can tell you which you will like better. If you're buying new, then you're talking about spending the better part of $30K. Spend a few hundred bucks to rent each for a day, and then decide. Then try to get the dealer to credit the rental cost towards your new bike.
